We had the pleasure of providing a Kabuki dance workshop for affluent inbound guests visiting Japan.
In mid-May, we had the pleasure of hosting a Kabuki dance workshop
at a traditional ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant) in Tsukiji.
The workshop began with an explanation of Kabuki dance
and the art of makeup, provided by a kurogo (stage assistant).
Guests had the opportunity to witness
a live demonstration of kumadori (Kabuki makeup) applied right before their eyes.

In the latter half of the program, guests were treated to
a close-up performance of Renjishi, one of the most popular Kabuki pieces.
Our guests from Brazil — from the other side of the globe — were especially delighted,
and enjoyed a truly memorable evening in Tokyo.
